As the day came to a close yesterday we had a surprising visit from the current Ladies U.S. Figure Skating Champion Alissa Czisny. She is excited to be competing in her first World Championships! She wishes us well and can’t wait to prove herself once again in Spokane.
Hey, I just met Joan Crotty from El Segundo, California. She says she and her daughter are really looking forward to another trip to Spokane in 2010. “Everywhere we went last time, the people were so friendly!” says Crotty. She said she and her daughter have actually helped organize this year’s skating event in LA, but says Crotty, “No one’s done it as well as Spokane. I can’t wait to get back there!”
So, here we are in LA - warm weather, skating stars, can’t ask for a better place to pitch the refreshing life and 2010 US Figure Skating Championships in Spokane. With January 2010 fast approaching, our team is spanning the globe as it were… pitching the world’s best venue to watch skating.
Even though we did have to tease Scott about getting fired on The Apprentice, he’s still a warm and wonderful fan of Spokane.

We have been super busy this week getting all of our boxes and information ready to be sent down to the Staples Center. Thanks to Johnston Printing for providing us with a new and improved shipping method; pallet and shrink wrap. That has been a life saver for time and money. Not to mention we don’t have to worry about a stray box getting lost along the way. The boxes tend to be a bit heavy packed with seat hangers, banners, “new” brochures, and all the ticket information a person could need!
The Team will be departing Spokane bright and early on Tuesday, March 24 and arriving late morning in Los Angeles. Our first task is to get our booth set up on the concourse of the Staples Center. We will be located next to U.S. Figure Skating’s booth. Be sure to stop by our booth to get all of your ticketing/hotel information to the 2010 AT&T U.S. Figure Skating Championships. By purchasing your tickets at our booth you are automatically put into a drawing for a $50 gift certificate to Chocolate Apothecary or anyone can enter to win a $100 gift cerficate to Nordstrom’s.
We are very excited for our journey and anticipate to sell, sell, sell tickets!!!
